Not for the basic information SalonPlug already provides. You can check the salon’s services, prices, location, photos, reviews and available booking times on SalonPlug and make your booking directly, instead of moving between social media, WhatsApp and phone calls just to arrange one appointment.

You can start a booking without signing in first. SalonPlug will ask for the contact details needed to complete the booking and create your customer account so you can manage the appointment afterwards.

Your booking is recorded in SalonPlug and appears in your customer account, while the salon receives the appointment in its SalonPlug booking system. You can use your account to keep track of the booking instead of relying on a DM thread or trying to remember the details. We recommend arriving at the salon at least 10 minutes before your appointment time so you can settle in and the salon can start your service on time.

Yes. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 6 hours before the appointment time from your SalonPlug account. This gives the salon a fair chance to offer the time to another customer. Repeated late cancellations and no-shows affect salons that have reserved time for you, so if this happens 3 times within a single month, SalonPlug may take action on or restrict your account.

Hair Inspo is for those moments when you want a new hairstyle but do not know exactly what to do, what the style is called or which salon can actually do it. You can browse hairstyle ideas from salons on SalonPlug, see styles that inspire you and, when a style is connected to a salon service, go straight from inspiration to the salon that offers it and book the related service. It helps turn “I want to do my hair, but I do not know what to choose” into a clearer decision and booking path.

SalonPlug helps turn the information customers keep asking you for into a clear booking journey. Instead of repeatedly answering questions about prices, services, location and availability through DMs and calls, you can put that information in one place, showcase your work and let customers book when they are ready. Potential customers may see your work on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or WhatsApp, but if there is no clear way to see your prices, availability and book, they can simply move on. Your SalonPlug link gives that interest somewhere to go. Published means your salon page is ready to be public on SalonPlug. Publishing is one of the conditions required for customers to find your salon in Discovery.

Open for bookings tells SalonPlug that you are currently accepting new appointments. For your salon to appear in Discovery, it must be approved, published and open for bookings. You can turn this off when you are too busy or temporarily do not want new bookings without losing the salon information you have already set up.

Your salon stops appearing as available for new bookings in Discovery. Your salon account, services, bookings and management information remain in place, so you can control demand without rebuilding your SalonPlug page when you are ready to accept customers again.

Publishing is one part of the process. Your salon must be approved, published and open for bookings before it is eligible to appear in SalonPlug Discovery. This helps ensure customers are being shown businesses that are ready to receive bookings.

After you submit your salon or barbershop application, SalonPlug reviews the information before giving you approved provider access. We aim to respond within 48 hours, and many applications are reviewed much earlier. Once approved, you can finish setting up and publishing your salon so customers can start finding and booking you.

Yes. Your provider dashboard lets you see and manage bookings in one place instead of relying on calls, notebooks or appointments scattered across different social media messages. This gives you a clearer view of who is coming, what they booked and when they are expected.
