Active accounts
Profile, provider, storefront, booking and account information is retained while an account is active where needed to provide SalonPlug services.
After account deletion
Active account profiles and authentication access are deleted. Customer-authored reviews are removed when a customer deletes their account. Provider storefronts, services and staff records are removed when the provider owner deletes the provider account.
Booking records may be retained in de-identified or limited form for up to 24 months where reasonably necessary for customer support, disputes, fraud prevention, service integrity and business records. Information may be kept longer when required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
Security and audit records
Security, administrative and audit records may be retained for up to 12 months, or longer where necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or comply with legal obligations. These records are not used to recreate a deleted consumer account.
Feedback and support
Feedback and support records may be retained for up to 24 months so SalonPlug can resolve issues, understand recurring problems and document responses. You may request earlier deletion where no overriding legal or security reason requires retention.
Backups
Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups rotate out under normal backup schedules. Backup copies are not restored for ordinary product use after an account has been deleted.
Review
These periods are operational targets and may be revised as SalonPlug's legal, accounting and security requirements develop. Any material change will be reflected in the current policy.
