1. Information you provide
We collect information you choose to provide when you create an account, make or manage a booking, operate a service-provider profile, submit a review, contact SalonPlug, or use other features. This may include contact details, booking information, business information, photos or other content you upload, and preferences you choose to save.
2. Information created when you use SalonPlug
We collect limited technical and usage information that helps us operate, secure and improve SalonPlug. This can include pages or features used, searches, salon views, booking-flow activity, device or platform information, and anonymous or session analytics identifiers.
When available, we may also receive information that helps us understand how people found SalonPlug, such as a campaign or referral source.
3. Location you choose to share
If you choose to use nearby features, SalonPlug may request your current location to calculate distance to salons and help with directions. Customer location for this feature is used in the current browser or app session and is not used for background tracking.
Service providers may save a business map pin for their salon or workplace. That business location may be shown publicly while the storefront is published.
4. Notifications
If you enable notifications, SalonPlug may store notification preferences and a device push token so booking and account alerts can be delivered to that device. You can turn notifications off through the available account or device controls.
5. How we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts, process and manage bookings, operate provider storefronts, send booking and account notifications, personalize eligible experiences such as Hair Inspo, display reviews and provider content, provide directions and support, prevent misuse and fraud, understand how SalonPlug is being used, improve the service and comply with applicable obligations.
SalonPlug's first-party analytics are used for product, reliability and business decisions, such as understanding which features are used and where booking journeys begin.
6. Who receives information
Booking information is shared with the salon or service provider involved in your appointment so they can provide and manage the booked service.
We also use service providers that help SalonPlug with hosting, authentication, data storage, notifications, mapping, security, support, business operations and analytics. They may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide those services.
We do not sell personal information.
7. Analytics and advertising measurement
SalonPlug uses first-party analytics across the website and installed apps to understand product usage, performance and booking journeys.
Advertising-measurement technology such as Meta Pixel may be used on public SalonPlug website pages to understand whether campaigns lead to visits, salon views or booking-flow starts. SalonPlug does not deliberately load Meta Pixel inside the installed iOS or Android apps.
SalonPlug does not deliberately send customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, booking contact details, precise customer location, or provider/admin/account-page activity through advertising-measurement tools.
8. Public information and content
Information that a service provider publishes to a storefront, such as business details, services, location, gallery images, hairstyle inspiration posts, opening hours and public contact channels, may be visible to SalonPlug users or publicly.
Reviews, review photos and other content uploaded to features intended for display may also be shown according to the feature you use.
9. Your choices and rights
You may decline optional location access, change eligible account information, manage available notification or marketing preferences, request access to or correction of personal information associated with your account, object to or withdraw optional processing where applicable, and request deletion of your SalonPlug account.

10. Account deletion and retention
Customers and provider owners can request permanent account deletion from within SalonPlug or through the public Account Deletion page. We may verify a deletion request before completing it to protect accounts from unauthorized requests.
Active account data is removed in accordance with the deletion process. Limited historical records may be retained in de-identified or restricted form where reasonably necessary for support, disputes, fraud prevention, legal obligations or platform integrity. 11. Security
SalonPlug uses authenticated access, server-side authorization, restricted database and storage rules, encrypted connections and other technical and organizational controls designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their sign-in credentials and notify us of suspected misuse.
12. Children and minors
SalonPlug is intended for users who are able to use the platform and enter into service arrangements lawfully. Where a minor is not legally able to manage an account independently, a parent, guardian or other legally responsible adult should manage the booking relationship.
13. Changes and contact
