Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information, use SalonPlug lawfully and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should notify SalonPlug if you believe your account is being misused.

SalonPlug helps customers discover and book independent salons and beauty professionals and gives providers tools to present and manage their services. Unless SalonPlug expressly states otherwise, the salon or service provider performs the beauty service and is responsible for the quality, safety, pricing and fulfilment of that service.

SalonPlug is not the salon, barber, stylist or beauty professional providing the appointment and does not take over a provider's ordinary responsibilities to its customers.

Appointments are subject to provider availability. Customers should provide accurate contact information and attend confirmed appointments on time. Providers should keep services, prices, staff, opening hours and availability reasonably accurate.

Cancellation, no-show, refund, rescheduling and service-price policies are ordinarily matters between the customer and the relevant independent provider. Providers should communicate material conditions clearly, and customers should review any provider-specific terms before attending or paying for a service.

SalonPlug may review reports where a customer or provider is alleged to be abusing, misleading, harassing, defrauding or otherwise exploiting another user through the platform. Depending on the circumstances, SalonPlug may request information, warn a user, restrict features, suspend or remove an account or listing, or take other reasonable steps to protect users and the platform.

SalonPlug may assist with reports and platform enforcement but does not guarantee that it will resolve the underlying service or money dispute between a customer and an independent provider.

Reviews should reflect genuine completed experiences. Providers may publish hairstyle inspiration, gallery images and other business content only when it shows their own work or content they are authorized to use, and must connect it truthfully to services they offer.

Users must not upload unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing or inappropriate material. By uploading content to a feature intended for display on SalonPlug, you give SalonPlug permission to host, process, resize, display and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate that feature. You retain any ownership rights you otherwise have in your content.

SalonPlug may moderate, restrict or remove content that violates these terms, platform rules or applicable law.

Providers are responsible for lawful operation of their businesses, accurate service and price information, staff authority, customer care, hygiene and service safety, and any licences, registrations, taxes or other business requirements that apply to them.

Provider owners are responsible for ensuring that staff or managers given SalonPlug access are authorized to act for the business.

Provider subscription charges, free-access periods and applicable billing terms are shown in the provider account when they apply. SalonPlug may introduce or change pricing prospectively and will communicate material changes before they take effect.

SalonPlug may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, providers or the platform, investigate misuse, enforce these terms or comply with applicable obligations. This may include repeated abuse, fraud, deliberate misrepresentation, harassment, unsafe conduct or attempts to misuse SalonPlug systems.

Users may request account deletion through the available account controls or public Account Deletion page, subject to the retention described in the Data Retention Policy.

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee that SalonPlug will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Features may be changed, suspended or unavailable while we maintain, secure or improve the service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SalonPlug is not responsible for the quality, outcome or safety of services independently performed by salons or beauty professionals, or for losses caused by a provider's independent acts, events outside SalonPlug's reasonable control, or misuse of the platform.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may update these terms as SalonPlug develops. Material changes will be reflected in the current version and last-updated date. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
